Dwarkesh Patel<\/a> studied computer engineering at the University of Texas at Austin and is known as Silicon Valley’s favorite pod-caster (interviewing key people within the tech industry). Therefore he is well qualified to ask intelligent and probing questions that really pull out a lot of information from Elon Musk. Joining the interview is John Collison<\/a> (from Ireland) who is noted for being the youngest self-made billionaire with an estimated 9.3 billion net worth. These two men are both exceptionally qualified to interview Elon since they have a combined experience in both computer engineering and business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The screen capture of the video above [at timestamp 49:18\/2:49:45] Elon speaks of the importance of making sure that the AI system they engineer includes the right values. This is important because when machine learning (called silicon intelligence) exceeds the biological intelligence of humans then such a system can become largely autonomous. If silicon intelligence is hundred times greater than biological intelligence – then humans will not likely be able to control such an autonomous system (which is vastly more intelligent than themselves). It is for this reason that such a system must be pre-programmed with a solid “moral values” foundation. Such a moral foundation can serve to govern such a system in order to keep it from going “off-the-rails” and becoming “insane” and destroying the humans that created it. This latter scenario is quite possible especially when there are already godless men (without a moral foundation) that are now creating AI systems that do not esteem humanity. Just like the creators of such a system – these godless AI systems are programmed to hate humans and when such a system becomes fully autonomous with AI (and can carry out the plans of the AI system using robots) then this can pose a real threat to humanity. Only by having a “morals-based” AI system can there be any hope of resisting a bad AI system created by godless men. Such a bad AI system does not have the best interests of humans in mind. Like its bad creators – the bad AI systems will also hate humans and seek their destruction. These G1-robots are holding a [QBZ-191 rifle] in 5.8x42mm cartridge and this new rifle in (2019) looks similar to the U.S. M4 Carbine. This same video also shows an J-35 “Chinese-made” fighter jet (parked in the background) that looks similar to the US F-35. This shows how the CCP are always engaged in technology theft and innovation imitation. But although they are copy-cats western nations should pay attention because western nations will be in need of creating countermeasures against this upcoming Chinese robotic threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This Chinese robot “capability video” see above illustrates the dark intentions of the Communist Party of China (CCP). China has a shortage of people so they now seeking to develop a vast army of robotic warriors to engage in future wars. This illustrates the fact that if bad people with bad motives engineer software to operate robots and the hardware (robots themselves) then the end result will also be bad. If this bad technology results in releasing robot terminators upon the earth to cull humanity then it is simply a product of bad engineering. Therefore, technology is only as good as its creators. This means that when wicked people engineer technology it will be used for evil purposes so the technology is only as good as those who programmed it. But creating a truth-based system like (TruthGPT) can do humanity a great service by solving some of the biggest problems facing humanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Again, it must be understood that if bad people program and create technology then it will have a bad result for humans. If good people program and create technology then it will have a good effect for humans. The technology can be no better than those who created it. If bad actors created AI systems and robotics then it is highly probable that the results will be bad. If good people with good morals and good intentions create technology then it is likely that the results will be good for humanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All AI systems (and the robots controlled by AI) should be used for the purpose of serving humans – rather than to be used to cull them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The principle of “sanctity of human life” is a biblical principle which teaches that all humans are created in the image of God and are therefore human life is sacred. Throughout the bible God punished those who shed innocent human blood and those who committed murder were to be executed for their crimes. This shows that God considers human life as sacred and on a much higher level than any type of animal life on earth. Therefore if God-fearing people engineer AI and robotic systems then these systems will be established upon the biblical moral principle of the sanctity of human life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If an AI system is programed with this foundational moral principle (of the sanctity of human life) to govern its decisions and actions – then it will always behave in a way that is beneficial to humans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This same thing can be seen as a governing factor in the lives of Christians who fear God and hold the truth that humans are created in the image of God. This is why only a God-fearing person should be allowed to own firearms. A person who holds to the sanctify of human life will use guns to protect and defend humans from harm but those who are godless will use guns to wound and kill humans. The difference lies only in the moral foundation that exists within the believer and\/or the absence of that same moral foundation within the lives of unbelievers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The same moral foundation that can make Christians safe with guns is the same moral foundation that can make AI systems and robotics (run by these systems) safe toward humans. But if the AI systems (and the robotics it controls) were engineered by godless unbelievers (who hate humans) then both the AI system and robotics cannot be trusted not to harm humans or be trusted not to seek to exterminate them all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A godly moral foundation is just as essential in governing the lives of believers as it is also essential in governing the thoughts (artificial intelligence) and actions of an AI system and the robotics it controls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rather than creating robots to cull humans – it would be far more productive if robots are used to serve humans. Instead of men laboring by the sweat of their brow constantly just to feed their families – robots could do much of the work for them. This would give men more time to focus on what is important – like having quality family time and spending time in mentoring their children in the knowledge of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Genesis 18:19 (NASB95)<\/strong> The whole reason why God chose Abraham is because Abraham could be trusted to train his children and members of his household about the knowledge of God. Thus the knowledge of God could be passed down to the following generations because Abraham trained his children and grandchildren after him. If each successive generation would continue to pass on the knowledge of God – then this passing of the knowledge of God has the potential of being spread to all following generations – until this present time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is why robots and automation are so valuable because they can greatly reduce the workload of men and give them more time to mentor their own children and grandchildren after them. Passing on godly moral values and teaching the things of God to our children should become the top priority of all parents – during their temporal life on earth.
