National Self-Sufficiency

Acts 17:26 (NASB95)
26 and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation,

The scripture above says that God has created every nation of people on earth and God has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation. The basic principle to see here is that civil leaders should understand that God is involved with national affairs and is concerned about what takes place within the national borders of each country.

When nations are entirely dependent upon imports of energy or goods or materials from other nations then they have placed themselves in a precarious situation. Vital supply lines can be disrupted by war or natural disasters or any number of events that can result in cutting off that which is essential for the operation of any country.

Developing a self-sufficient economic system is of major importance to the national interests of any country so that they will not be vulnerable to outside sanctions or war or any type of supply-chain disruption.

Once a nation creates a self-sufficient living system (and this system becomes operational) then it can pay for itself and also generate the funds needed for its own maintenance. This is similar to how the old-fashioned hand-pumps needed to be first primed with some water to wet the seals in order to create the needed suction to lift water out of a well. Pouring water into the pump is like making an investment in order to get the flow of wealth started. In the same way, building a self-sufficient system is like priming a pump because once this system is operational it can pay for itself and then produce a continual “income-flow” for the future (with minimal “inputs” required to keep it operational) in comparison to its own abundant production capacity.

Building a New Living System in Russia

Russia has vast areas of virtually “uninhabited” regions which could all be utilized to build a new non-centralized living system. Russia also offers free land for development and seeks to have 10-million dual citizenship foreigners come to engage in civilization building. All of this is ideal for building a new living system that is free from the failures associated with the global economic system.
