The above feature shows how the peg stops (bench dogs) can be used in a circular patter if round stock (like a wooden plate) needs to be held securely.

Above the table can be tilted toward the center to create a V-shape that can be used to hold round stock like a large diameter PVC pipe for cutting.

The table boards can be configured into a 90-degree position when thick stock must be held securely (like a 4×4 beam for example) or a square metal tube.

The board can also be used in a horizontal position as seen above for holding thin stock like a plywood slat.

The table comes disassembled in a narrow carton but it is relatively easy to put together. They made an ingenious design that pretty much goes together only one way. However, care should be taken during assembly to make sure the top boards tilt toward the center (which is needed when handling round stock such as large diameter PVC pipes).

The kit comes with all of the metal parts and fasteners. One only needs a screw driver and plyers to complete the project but everything else is included.

The image above shows the top boards tilted toward the center which is useful in holding large stock like long large PVC pipes for cutting.

The hand cranks allow the boards to be moved in or out to clamp down on various sizes and shapes of stock. Even crooked stock can be secured because each handle turns separately (moving the top boards independently even at an angle).

The table comes with plastic peg stops which are probably good for most jobs but these can be replaced with metal peg stops if so desired. When adding peg-stops or (bench dogs) then there is more versatility in the types and sizes of material that this bench will hold.

The plastic peg stops that come with this folding table allow for a wide range of materials to be held securely during work.

The table has 19mm diameter holes which will accept a 19mm diameter peg. There are metal peg stops available for purchase (separately) which have a 19mm diameter peg.

There are stainless steel and aluminum metal peg stops available (separately) for anyone who would like to upgrade their portable work table.

The most important point is that this table can be folded for easy storage. This allows boys who live in an apartment to keep a useable work table at home until such time that they can afford to have a full-size shop with storage space for tools as well as a fixed workbench.
