The boys under our training program should be taught about the value of assets (such as tools) and the reason why they should learn how to care for these things. Tools can earn a living for a tradesman and put food on the table for his family. Tools can also save a lot of money when a boy learns how to do his own repairs instead of having to pay huge fees to hire a professional. Purchasing tools is never a waste of money and in fact tools can hold a high resale value if they are taken care of properly.
