Praying the Word

To pray the word, the believer should find scriptures that pertain to their needs. In the case of physical healing the believer should pray scriptures that relate to healing.

Visualization

Abraham visualized his descendants being multiplied as numerous as the stars in the sky. Jacob visualized the colored sheep multiplying for the increase of his prosperity. When praying the scriptures the believer should visualize themselves or visualize the results that they want to receive rather than the symptoms that currently exist.

Thanking God for the Answer

The believer should thank God for the way they want to be and see themselves as healed as they mediate on the scriptures. The believer should start with the top of their head and go to the soles of their feet and speak out thankfulness to the Lord for healing their physical bodies saying, ” I thank God that such and such is healed in my body in Jesus name.” They should speak according to what condition they want to manifest in their bodies rather than according to existing symptoms. Sometimes the enemy will cause the symptoms in increase hoping to get the believer to back off the word of God. But if the believer will stand their ground and not be moved then the devil cannot stop them from receiving total healing of their aliments.

Below are a list of scriptures that a believer can pray though which will activate their faith and bring healing to their bodies and meet other needs in their lives.

53 a woman dropped an upper millstone on his head and cracked his skull.

Pray: I thank God that the Name of the Lord is a strong tower and I run into it and I am safe from the accusation of the enemy. 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;

12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;

14 for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.

15 The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field;

16 the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.

17 But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children—

3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the enemy Satan and from the deadly pestilence.

4 He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you shall take refuge; his truth shall be your shield and buckler.

5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day,

6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.

8 Only with your eyes shalt you behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge, even the Most High your dwelling place,

10 No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near the dwelling (of your human body);

11 For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

12 They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 You shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon you shall trample under feet.

14 “Because you have set your love upon me, therefore I will deliver you; I will set you on high, because you have known my name.

15 You shall call upon me, and I will answer you; I will be with you in trouble; I will deliver you and honor you.

16 With long life I will satisfy you and show you my salvation.”

Pray: I thank God that I dwell in the secret place of the Almighty God and rest in the shadow of his protection. I thank God that he is my refuge and fortress and my God in whom I trust. I thank God that no plague comes near the dwelling of my human body. I thank God he delivers me from the snare of the enemy. I thank God that I find protection under his wings like a chick sheltering under the protection of the mother hen. I thank God that no evil comes near me because I have made the Lord my refuge and my dwelling place. I thank God he gives his angels charge over me to keep me in all of my ways. I thank God I was given authority over all of the power of the enemy. I thank God that when I call upon him he hears and answers me. 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and [after having done all that you know to do then take your stand in faith and never be moved.]

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace (with God);

16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which, you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

Pray: I thank God for the spiritual armor provided for the protection of the believer against the enemy Satan. We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus.

2 Cor. 10:3-5 (HCSB)-M

3 For though we live in the body, we do not wage war in an unspiritual way,

7 “But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.

8 He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
