Menorah

The Jewish Menorah is a seven-branched lampstand which represents the seven-Spirits of God.

Revelation 4:5 (NIV)

5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. Before the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God.

Upon entering the tent of meeting the believer has already magnified God’s greatness at the Tabernacle Gates and worshiped the Lord for the benefits of redemption at the brazen altar and confessed their daily sins and received cleansing at the laver. Now they enter the tent of meeting and come to the Menorah with the seven lamps of light which represent the Holy Spirit.

Seven Spirits of God

Isaiah 11:1-2 (NKJV)

1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.

2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

The seven-Spirits of the Lord are represented in the scripture above. These are:

1. The Spirit of the Lord which represents “lordship” and submission of the Spirit-filled believer to the heavenly Father.

2. The Spirit of Wisdom which represents the wisdom of God which is imparted to the Spirit-filled believer by the Holy Spirit.

3. The Spirit of Understanding which represents the understanding of God imparted to the Spirit-filled believer.

4. The Spirit of Counsel which represents the counsel of God imparted to the Spirit-filled believer enabling them to have God’s counsel for themselves and for leading others.

5. The Spirit of Might which represents the power of God which is imparted to the Spirit-filled believer for accomplishing God’s purposes on earth.

6. The Spirit of Knowledge which represents the knowledge of God imparted to the Spirit-filled believer enabling them to solve problems and deal wisely in the affairs of life.

7. The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord which represents the Fear of God imparted to the Spirit-filled believer enabling them to walk in holiness during their sojourn upon the earth.

The believer should go down the above list and worship the Holy Spirit of God for every one of these attributes that are made available for the believers.

The awareness of having the Holy Spirit within them and the manifestation of the seven-attributes of God will greatly assist the believer in becoming God-conscience and being aware of their own “Unlimited Potential” that is a result of having the empowerment of the Holy Spirit dwelling within them.
