It is our goal to develop the “masculine-logic” of boys so they learn how things work and how to create parts and combine parts and systems into advanced innovations. It is for this reason that we seek to have boys make most of the articles that they use rather than buying them. They do not learn anything by simply buying a store-bought item. One example of making their own is when boys make paracord articles of different kinds. Paracord has hundreds of uses in a survival situation so having articles like belts, or wrist bands or hat bands or even a watch strap are something that is useful in an situation where cordage is needed.
