End-Time Events
Sprouting Leaves of the Fig Tree
Matthew 24:32–33 (NIV)
32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.
33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.
Jesus used the parable of the fig tree to illustrate how certain events would manifest on earth and these events will indicate that the season of the end-times has arrived. Just as the sprouting of fig leaves indicated that the summer season was near so the manifestation of certain events also indicate that the end-times have arrived.
Indications of “Leaf-Sprout” End-Time Events
Increase of Wickedness
One indicator of the “End-times” is the increase of wickedness. The increase of wickedness is one of the “indicating-leaves” of the prophetic “fig tree” that have now begun to sprout.
Increase in Both Deception and Wickedness
Another indication of the end-times will be an increase in deception. There are currently civil leaders in western nations who assert that a male can be a female and a female can be a male. These western civil leaders even pass laws to force sodomite indoctrination within the western school systems to convert and recruit children into this perverted lifestyle. Such deceived western civil leaders have gone even further in promoting perversion abroad outside of their own countries by incorporating “sodomy” as part of their foreign policy. They force this perversion upon other nations abroad by telling them that they will not receive any “western financial aid” unless they comply with sodomite perversion in their school systems. Therefore, this is an example of a dual-leaf sprout of both perverted wickedness and self-deception at the same time. These things serve as “indicators” that the end-times have arrived, just as the leaves sprouting on a fig tree indicate the time of summer has arrived.

Daniel 11:37 (NASB95)
37 “He will show no regard for the gods of his fathers or for the desire of women, nor will he show regard for any other god; for he will magnify himself above them all.
This scripture speaks of the coming “one-world ruler” who is described as having no regard for the desire of women. The “desire of women” should be understood as the natural desire for women to marry and bear children. Unless the women are “mentally-ill-feminists” it should be the case for all “normal” women to want to procreate and build a family (which is only natural for them).
But in the scripture above, Daniel the prophet reveals that the coming one-world ruler will have no regard for the desire of women. This means he will disdain married couples that hold onto a natural “family-orientation” and instead his world government will be pro-sodomite and antifamily. The evil ruler will also have (no regard for the gods of his fathers) meaning that all past forms of religion will become nullified. This one-world ruler will magnify himself above all forms of religion and promote himself above all that is worshipped on earth. He will then assume himself into the role of being a so-called “supreme-god” and demand that the entire world population should worship him as a “god” himself.

Genesis 1:27–28 (NASB95)
27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
28 God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
God gave his command to the man and the woman that they should be fruitful and multiply, which means they should procreate and raise a family and bear children together as a married couple. But the future one-world ruler will resist God’s command for procreation and his entire focus will be solely upon enforcing wickedness upon the world’s population. Having no regard for the desire of women (which is procreation and child-bearing) such an evil world dictator will instead promote sodomy. He will direct the natural human sex-drive away from procreation and send it into a ditch toward the perverse sexual “self-indulgence” of sodomy.
This godless leader will resist family values and disdain couples having children. Children are the focus of God’s love and have the potential to be saved and enter heaven and give God joy. This is why satanic people will resist family values and promote sodomy in an attempt to depopulate heaven by distracting humans away from having children.
Again, most of the Western nations (specifically identified as NATO members) are those that are now pushing the promotion of sodomy in all of the nations abroad. We have already discussed their various means of doing this which includes both cancellation or explusion or financial manipulation or even withholding of foreign aid to those who refuse to comply with their sodomite dictates.

Increase in Wars and War Preparations
Another “leaf-sprout” indication that the season of end-time has arrived is the increase in wars and war preparations. Jesus predicted all of these things as signs of the end-times. This occurs when weak effeminate leaders take over positions of civil leadership. This causes a leadership void and this is what instigates wars when “leadership voids” caused by weak civil leaders attract both invasion and wars. The liberal women western leaders and their beta-male enablers have created great “voids” in leadership by their weakness of equality for all and thus they have caused the threat of war to increase exponentially upon the earth.
Increase of Natural and Man-Made Disasters
The increase of natural disasters is another “leaf-sprout” indication that the season of end-time events has arrived. Nations that previously had few natural disasters have seen a marked increase in disasters with storms and floods and even earthquakes occurring in unusual places.
Increase in Famines
The increase of famines on earth is also a “leaf-sprout” indication of the season of end-time events. This has also been indicated by biblical prophecy that foolish childlike leaders and women would occupy positions of civil leadership would create man-made disasters by their own foolish decisions to do things like shutting down food production and creating famines as a result of their own stupidity.
Criminalization of Judeo/Christian Culture
The criminalization of Judeo/Christian culture is also a “leaf-sprout” indication of end-time events. Today there are both Jews and Christians who are being persecuted because they refuse to accept sodomite indoctrination of their children in school. If a person has a business (like a bakery making wedding cakes) they can be bankrupted by lawsuits and closed down for not catering to same-sex homosexual weddings. Christian colleges are forced to accept practicing homosexuals as students and even as instructors or be sued and bankrupted and closed down by legal action. Even churches or synagogues can be closed down and sued if they do not accept homosexuals as members and even as clergy. Just tweeting a bible verse in western nations can result in imprisonment for hate crimes against sodomites. This list goes on and on and in fact the increase in persecution of both Jews and Christians (who follow the laws of God) is a direct result of western women civil leaders forcing equality upon the entire population by rule of law (including equality for sodomites). This has resulted in the criminalization of both Judaism as well as Christianity because both groups live by the laws of God which forbid such perversion.
Persecution of those who Live Moral Lifestyles Based upon Biblical Principles
One of the “leaf-sprout” indicators of the season of the end-times is the persecution of those who live godly lives (including both Jews and Christians) who follow the principles of the Jewish Torah and the Bible.
Best Prophetic Discourse in the Entire Bible
The best prophetic discourse found in the bible is that which Jesus shared in the gospels. In fact, what Jesus shared in Matthew 24-25 can be called the best discourse on prophetic end-time events. This is because this discourse was personally given by Jesus to his own Jewish disciples. In this discourse, Jesus gave directions for them as believers how they could survive the coming end-time events and thus qualify themselves to enter into heaven. Both the book of Daniel in the Old Testament and the book of Revelation in the New Testament also confirm what Jesus spoke about in His Matthew 24-25 discourse. But there are a lot of figurative things shared in both Daniel and also in the book of Revelation, which require great wisdom to understand fully.
So, the New Testament books of Matthew 24-25 represent the “backbone” of prophetic utterances found within the entire bible. Jesus did not speak figuratively in the Matthew 24-25 discourse but rather he stated everything in clear manner. Nevertheless the listener has to remain in faith to receive the revelation because these are “prophetic utterances” that speak of future end-time events and therefore these utterances must also be spiritually discerned.
Assembling the Parts of Revelation
Ezekiel 37:7 (KJV)
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
The Jewish prophet Ezekiel saw a vision of human bones coming together to create a full assemblage of many complete human skeletons. So using this same “analogy” of assembling a human skeleton, we could also say that Matthew chapter 24-25 is like the “spine” or main prophetic theme (given directly by Jesus Himself), who was the world’s greatest prophet
So, using the analogy of assembling a human skeleton, it could be said that Matthew chapter 24-25 is like the “spine” (given directly by Jesus himself). In Matthew chapters 24-25, Jesus gave direct revelation from God regarding these coming future end-time events to his own disciples.
So, starting with the spine of (Matthew 24-25) then an assemblage of the parts related to it can be added, like the shoulder and hip bones attached to the spine and then the arm and leg bones of a skeleton (also attached to that spine assemblage). These various parts of revelation can be attached to the spine of the revelation which is found in Matthew 24-25.
When the revelation found in the books of Daniel and Revelation can be considered in light of what was shared in Matthew 24-25, then everything will all make sense. But this “prophetic assemblage” has to be put together in proper order beginning with Matthew 24-25 (serving as the basis of it all) with everything else being attached to this discourse. This is how a full-revelation of end-times events can be put together by attaching the bones of Daniel and Revelation to the main spine of the skeleton (as is found in Matthew chapters 24-25).
Below I have placed two entire chapters of Matthew 24-25 to discuss these end-time events in more detail.

Matthew 24:1–51 (NIV)
1 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings.
2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.
5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.
10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,
11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,
13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—
16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house.
18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak.
19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.
21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.
22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.
24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
25 See, I have told you ahead of time.
26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.
27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.
29 “Immediately after the distress of those days “ ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’
30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.
31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?
46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.

48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’
49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.
50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of.
51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 25:1–46 (NIV)
1 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.
4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.
5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.
8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
9 “ ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.
32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,
43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
Vertebrae Comprising the “Spine” of End-Time Revelation
If the revelation given by Jesus, (as is recorded within Matthew chapters 24-25) can be compared to the main “spine” of all revelation of end-time events, then the various parts of this revelation can also be compared to the “vertebrae” parts which make up a complete human spine. Starting with Matthew chapter 24, we can discern various parts or “vertebrae” which this entire “spine” revelation is compromised of.
Vertebrae Number 1: Increase of Deception
Matthew 24:1–5 (NIV)
1 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings.
2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.
5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.
Jesus warned his disciples that the Jewish temple in Jerusalem would be completely destroyed before this event took place. This is one of many prophetic utterances given by Jesus prior to these events taking place. This means that such prophecy can accurately speak of future events even before these same events ever transpired on earth.
The disciples of Jesus then asked Him privately (when they were alone with Him on the Mount of Olives) about when these end-time events would happen and would be the sign of His coming and the signs of the end of the age? Jesus made it clear that His disciples and (all believers who would be alive during the time of these future events) should be on guard that they would not be deceived. Jesus clearly said that many would come in His Name and falsely claim that they were the “Messiah” and they would successfully deceive many. This means that one of the signs of the end-times is the increase in deception.
Vertebrae Number 2: Increase in Wars and Unrest on Earth
Matthew 24:6 (NIV)
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
There will be in increase in wars and rumors of wars and this will cause political unrest in many nations. In February 2022, Russian invaded Ukraine and this resulted in many of the nations of the NATO alliance sending arms to help defend Ukraine. Then Finland joined NATO and is now building up its military defenses and Poland is now building up their defenses as are many of the European nations of NATO which are now preparing their defenses in the event that they could also be invaded. The invasion of Ukraine by Russia as resulted in the revival of NATO and the revival of war-preparations in the European countries of NATO. The USA is also making war preparations in the event they are forced to confront Russia.
Besides many of the NATO nations building up their defenses, the US and South Korea regularly engage in live-fire exercises near the border with North Korea. North Korea regularly denotates nukes to show its power in order to warn other nations not to invade. In other parts of the world, Iran is working to develop a nuclear bomb with the express goal of destroying the state of Israel. China is currently making preparations to invade Taiwan just as Russia also invaded Ukraine.
The threat of war and the war preparations currently underway can be a direct fulfillment of the signs of the times when Jesus warned that there would be rumors of war (resulting in war-preparations) and wars (such as the invasion of Ukraine and the resulting NATO nations supplying weapons for Ukraine and they are now building up their own defenses as well).

Liberal Nations Now Incapable of Supplying National Defense for other Countries
It should be noted that South Korea has been under constant threat of war since their country was divided into two separate nations in 1953 until present. This constant threat of war has pushed South Korea to develop their own “arms production system” so that in the event of invasion, they can produce weapons for their own defense at the drop-of-a-hat! But now European nations of NATO (including Poland and Finland and Norway and Estonia, and Turkey and a growing list of other NATO nations) are now seeking help from South Korea to meet their defensive needs because of the current threat of war in Europe. Countries like Germany and even the USA (who were past arms suppliers) are no longer dependable to help other nations in need. The USA (under the Biden regime) has fallen under liberal-control (like Germany also has) and now these former arms-suppliers can barely produce enough weapons and munitions for their own defense and are now incapable of helping other countries in need of bolstering their defenses. This is why so many NATO nations are now turning to South Korea for help in securing the weapons and munitions, which they need for national defense. Typically, liberal news articles speaking about the success of the Korean defense contractors falsely suggest that South Korea is somehow “criminal” for securing these defense contracts worth billions of dollars from various nations. But the South Koreans are in a position to meet a growing “national defensive needs” for many countries after liberal-controlled nations dropped the ball and left a void and can no longer help those nations (who are now facing the threat of war and invasion) in Europe.

6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
Again, it should be emphasized that current global events and the threat of wars and the wars that are currently in progress all support the prophetic utterance of Jesus who predicted these events were a prelude to the coming end-time events as were predicted by the Bible thousands of years ago.
Vertebrae Number 3: Increase in Famines and Earthquakes
Matthew 24:7–8 (NIV)
7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
Besides the increase of wars and nations rising up against nations (as previously discussed) there will also be famines in various places and well as an increase in earthquakes.
This thing about the increase of famines has largely been a man-made disaster as modern liberals take over civil leadership positions in government and create policies that instigate food shortages. Sri Lanka is one example of this when the president of Sri Lanka was deceived by progressive liberals to ban all fertilizer to reduce so-called global warming. Sri Lanka had once been a large exporter of food but after the fertilizer ban the food production was slashed so drastically that they could not produce enough food to feed their own people. This liberal decision to ban fertilizer resulted in instigating a nationwide famine.

Imbeciles in Leadership is a Judgment from God
It should be noted that the lowest caliber people have actively pursued obtaining civil leadership positions in many of the western nations. Isaiah 3:12 (NLT)
12 Childish leaders oppress my people, and women rule over them. O my people, your leaders mislead you; they send you down the wrong road.
The above scripture speaks of women ruling over God’s people (those who are incapable of civil leadership positions and cannot see beyond their own noses to see the “end-results” of their insane decisions which bring a curse and famine to their own nations). A childish leader perfectly describes the liberal beta males who enable women leaders. These weak and effeminate males were typically raised in single-parent homes by divorced working mothers. Having no father figure at home such boys are conditioned to think like women and to serve women. Such are childish leaders never grew up and they behave like spoiled children who want to be served. When liberal women and beta males take over civil leadership positions they will inevitably run any once-prosperous nation into the ground and destroy it. They will mislead the population who follow them and send them down the wrong path which will lead to their own national destruction. Isaiah 3:12 (NASB95)
12 O My people! Their oppressors are children, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who guide you lead you astray And confuse the direction of your paths.
The NASB95 bible translation says that their oppressors are children and women rule over them. This group of liberal women and beta male enablers will lead any group of people who follow them astray and confuse the direction of their paths. This means that making foolish decisions (such as banning fertilizer and closing down farms) will take any once-prosperous nation down the pathway of famine and destruction. These liberal idiots are incapable of seeing the “end-result” of their own foolish legislation and yet they enforce this insanity upon the rest of society who have to pay for their foolish decisions with their own suffering of famine and poverty.
The bible says that having children as oppressors and women in civil leadership positions is a judgment from God to bring about the destruction of a nation of unrepentant sinners. Thus they are given over to imbecilic leaders who are no more capable of civil leadership than a three-year-old child who is still wearing diapers!
Satanic Consolidation of Power
In these end-times there will be a marked increase in the consolidation of political power (as weak and insipid political rulers will struggle to attain to world dominion). One such future ruler will employ intrigue and deception to attain his goals. This ruler will then eliminate his competition and rise to power with the help of ten future kings who will give him their political power in exchange for bribes. He will plunder others and use that wealth to pay off those who join his scheme for world dominion. This is similar to how Adolph Hitler rose to a place of dominion and then consolidated his power and then tried to take over the world by military force. The reason that those who believe in Jesus will be persecuted is because the teaching of Christ calls people to repent of their sinful ways and change. This is considered “blasphemous” in the minds of liberals who want sodomites to be free to sin with abandon. So, liberals instead persecute those who hold biblical beliefs that marriage is intended by God only between a man and a woman (not same-sex marriage).

Coming Jewish and Christian Persecution
Revelation 12:15–17 (NASB95)
15 And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood.
16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon poured out of his mouth.
17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
The Jews have a long history of persecution but this will not end in the future because Satan specifically targets the Jews because it is the Jews who brought the Jewish Messiah “Yeshua” or Jesus the Christ (as called by Gentiles) into the world. Also the Jews hold to living by the Torah which is the law of God received by Moses. This law is shared by both Jews and Christians which results in creating Judeo/Christian Culture when people live according to biblical precedent. However, Satan hates the laws of God and wants to abolish these laws from the earth. Jews and Christians will not give up the laws of God (which they live by) so therefore these two people groups will become subjects of satanic persecution in these last days. The vision of the woman represents the Jewish race who gave birth to the Jewish Messiah Yeshua and the dragon represents Satan who seeks to destroy the Jews and also the Christians who follow the same Jewish laws. The flood represents the innumerable army of godless people who are inspired by Satan to attack the Jews.
So the dragon (Satan) was enraged at the Jews who follow God’s laws and he went off to make war against the rest of their children (those who keep God’s commands = Jews and those who hold to the testimony of Jesus = Christians.
It should be no surprise that in the end-times that there will be an increase of persecution of those who are Jewish as well as Gentile believers (Christians) who also live by Judeo/Christian culture by ordering their lives and families according to the principles of the bible.
Matthew 24:9–10 (NIV)

Again, Jesus warned that those who follow God’s laws (both Jews and Gentile believers) would be persecuted and even put to death. These two people groups will be hated by all nations because of their belief in God’s laws and because they believe in Yeshua the Jewish Messiah. Also a time is coming when many nominal Jews and nominal Christians will turn away from their faith because of persecution. These backsliders will want to placate their persecutors by denying the Lord and turning away from God’s laws, thus hoping to escape persecution. These compromisers will betray their own relatives and have them put to death in a feeble attempt to save their own lives from the coming purge. All those people who believe in Yeshua the Messiah and all who follow God’s commands (both believing Jews and believing Gentile Christians) will be scheduled to be culled from the earth by satanic people because they refuse to compromise their beliefs and therefore must pay for it with their own lives. Already we see the world headed in that direction persecuting anyone who does not comply with their immoral perversion and all those who refuse to join them in the breaking of God’s laws in wholesale manner.
Vertebrae Number 5: Increase of Wickedness
Matthew 24:11–13 (NIV)
11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,
13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
There will be an increase of deception and a great increase of wickedness upon the earth as all society seems to go headlong toward perversion and wickedness. The love of many will grow cold because there will be no one who is godly or moral and everyone will be an exploiter and abuser and there will be no good manners or kindness or gentleness left on earth. Being among unbelievers therefore will be like living in a prison among violent criminals. Every unbeliever will try to cheat and steal and abuse and take advantage of others. This is why people will have no love for anyone anymore because it will seem that everyone is trying to take advantage of them and the only godly people that will exist in that time will be those who are believing Jews and believing Gentiles that continue to follow God’s laws as written in their hearts. The rest of society will all be reprobate and evil and godless and no one will be able to trust anyone as all society goes down the tubes with nothing to restrain their evil ways.
To stand firm to the end, means that those who do not compromise their beliefs will stand firm in obeying God’s word even under persecution and even under threat of being put to death for it. Those who stand firm to the end will be saved but all those with no backbone (nominal Jews and nominal Christians) will all compromise trying to save their own necks but will end up as being eternally damned as a result of denying the Lord and denying God’s laws they are to live by.
Vertebrae Number 6: Worldwide Preaching of Gospel
Matthew 24:14 (NIV)
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Those who are uncompromising will boldly preach the good news of the gospel and call people to repent of their evil ways and be saved. Just as wickedness will thrive in the end-times, so also the preaching of the gospel will also thrive so that the contrast of evil and good will be seen through the preaching of the gospel and the call for people to repent and turn from their evil ways.
Vertebrae Number 7: Appearance of Antichrist and Attack Upon Jewish People
Matthew 24:15–22 (NIV)
15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—
16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house.
18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak.
19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.
21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.
22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
Currently the Jewish temple has not yet been rebuilt since its last destruction. Therefore, one of the signs will be that the Jewish temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt again and the sacrificial system will be restored. It is within this newly rebuilt temple that the Antichrist world leader will attempt to vaunt himself into the role of God and demand to be worshipped as a god. This is the abomination that causes desolation which was spoken about by Daniel the prophet thousands of years ago. When the Antichrist appears in the temple in Jerusalem then all of the believing Jews should recognize that prophetic sign and immediate flee for their lives! The urgency will be so great that they should not even stop at their houses to grab anything. They should not even go back for a coat if they are in the field but flee without hesitation. Seconds will make the difference if they will escape or if they will be ensnared within the dragnet that will encircle the whole region of Jerusalem in a matter of moments. It will be a terrible time for pregnant women and nursing mothers because they will have to flee when their physical condition can hamper their flight. This will be a persecution of the Jews and they should pray this flight will not take place in the winter time or during a sabbath or else they will have an even harder time to escape. If these days were not shortened then there would be no surviving Jews left as the Antichrist sets about to cull all those who worship the God of Israel (both Jews and also Gentiles who refuse to compromise).
It should be noted that the scriptures speak of fleeing to the mountains and that speaks of leaving urban areas and going to remote uninhabited regions to hide from the coming persecution and cull instigated by the Antichrist.
Revelation 12:13–14 (NASB95)
13 And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.
14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
The woman who gave birth to a male children represents the Jewish race (through whom the Jewish Messiah Yeshua was born). The dragon (Satan) hates the Jews for this reason and he will inspire the Antichrist to destroy as many Jews as possible during the time of the coming satanic purge. The scripture above says clearly that the woman was given two wings of a great eagle so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place prepared for her where she will be nourished and cared for during the time of the great Jewish persecution and the during the Jewish cull instigated by the Antichrist and his forces.
It is our hope to have Messianic Jewish believers come to our refuge system that we build in the wilderness of Siberia. Here we can protect them and provide for them and keep the alive until the dreadful time of persecution and culling has passed. After the time of trouble has been accomplished then we can move them back to Israel where they can partake of the glorious time when Yeshua manifests Himself in person in Jerusalem.
The great wings of an eagle could be figurative of the great wings of a large cargo aircraft (such as the C-130 Hercules) which can move large numbers of people and cargo to undeveloped airstrips in remote regions.
Vertebrae Number 8: Warning of False Messiahs
Matthew 24:23–27 (NIV)
23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.
24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
25 See, I have told you ahead of time.
26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.
27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
When Yeshua the Jewish Messiah returns it will be like the lightning that comes from the east and is visible in the west so that the entire sky from horizon to horizon is lit-up with the brilliance of the flash. In similar manner, the coming of the Son of Man will be like that because everyone will see Him and it will not be something that takes place in secret.

Matthew 24:28–31 (NIV)
28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.
29 “Immediately after the distress of those days “ ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’
30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.
31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
Normally a dead carcass and vultures gathering on it would represent corruption and defilement so this could represent the wicked unbelievers who went from bad to worse in their corruption on the earth. Unbelievers are attracted to everything that is evil and rotten and defiled like vultures are attracted a decomposing smelly corpse. At this time, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light and stars will fall from the sky and the heavenly bodies (planets) will be shaken. This can also represent the gross darkness of immoral behavior that goes from bad to worse during the end-times leaving men in complete darkness of moral depravity and wickedness.
At this time, the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven and all of the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Jewish Messiah coming in all of his glory. Those who mourn his coming are those who are wicked and who no longer can sin anymore but will now face judgment. That is why they mourn because their time of unbridled sin and apostacy has now come to an end and they will now face the judgment of God.
At this time however, the Son of Man will send out his angels to gather the elect from the four-winds from one end of the heavens to the other. This means that those who remained faithful to God (despite persecution) will be gathered from every part of the earth wherever they are located. These faithful ones are not appointed to wrath and judgment like the “vulture-type” of people who lived in complete corruption and defilement during their time on earth.
Vertebrae Number 10: Confirmation by Parables
Matthew 24:32–35 (NIV)
32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.
33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.
34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
The fig tree puts out leaves at a certain time and season each year and so it is the same with all of the events that precede the return of the Messiah. These events are like leaves that are sprouting on the branches of a fig tree giving evidence that the time of year has arrived when fig trees sprout leaves. All of the end-time events previously discussed in this discourse are all like sprouting leaves which give evidence of the time and season of the end times is now upon us.
The generation that is alive when these events take place are those who will experience the end-time events. These events will all transpire shortly within the lifespan of those who are living on earth when these events take place.
The words that Jesus spoke while he was on earth will never pass away but everything that he said will come to pass with great accuracy.
Vertebrae Number 11: No One Can Claim to Know the Specific Time
Matthew 24:36 (NIV)
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
No one on earth knows the specific day or hour when the Messiah will return to the earth. Not the angels or even the Son of God but only the Father has the knowledge of this important date. Therefore, whenever someone claims to know that day of Christ’s return, then they are automatically liars because only the Father in heaven knows that date and time.
Vertebrae Number 12: The Coming will Catch Humans by Surprise
Matthew 24:37–42 (NIV)
37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
In the time of Noah, the people were eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage and living their lives as if everything was normal. But these same people were all swept away by the flood of destruction when it suddenly struck them all and washed them all away. The coming of the Son of Man will be like this because this event will take everyone by surprise and they will not be expecting it when it happens.
The catching away of the believers will occur instantly, leaving one in the field and one taken or one at the mill and one taken. Those who want to be spared from judgment must be ready and prepared for that day so they will be counted worthy to escape all of these things that will soon take place upon the earth. To keep watch, means they are expecting the Lord and are in a state of continual readiness so they will be counted worthy to be taken from the earth when the time comes.
Vertebrae Number 13: Like a thief in the Night
Matthew 24:43–44 (NIV)
43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
The thief comes when the owner is not expecting him otherwise the robbery could be thwarted. In the same way, believers should be in a constant state of readiness so that they will not be taken by surprise when the Lord returns for His people.
Vertebrae Number 14: Like a Faithful and Wise Servant
Matthew 24:45–51 (NIV)
45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?
46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.
47 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’
49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.
50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of.
51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
A faithful and wise servant will do his job day in and day out, the same all of the time. If the master comes home unexpectedly then a faithful servant will not be ashamed because he is consistent in all that he does every day. So also the believer should be the same way and be faithful to God daily so that no matter when the master returns, the servant will be found being faithful.
But if a servant is bad and becomes a glutton and drunkard then his bad behavior will be exposed when the master returns unexpectedly and finds the servant engaging in self-indulgence and bad behavior. So such a selfish servant will receive judgment instead of reward for his bad behavior.
Jesus continues His discourse in Matthew chapter 25 with the parable of the ten virgins.
Vertebrae Number 15: Parable of the Ten Virgins
Matthew 25:1–13 (NIV)
1 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.
4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.
5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.
8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
9 “ ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’
12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
Parable of the Ten-Virgins Speaks of Need for Endurance
Matthew 25:1 (NKJV)
1 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
This is speaking in context together with those things given in Matthew 24 as well (for two full chapters) which Jesus is referring to end-time events. The bridegroom coming for the bride is symbolic of Jesus returning for the Messianic Jewish believers and the Gentile believers as well. These two groups comprise the “bride” whom the Lord is coming to get so he can marry them and bring them to the home he has prepared for them in heaven.
Genesis 16:3 (NASB)
3 After Abram had lived ten years in the land of Canaan, Abram’s wife Sarai took Hagar the Egyptian, her maid, and gave her to her husband Abram as his wife.
The number “ten” represents a full-decade or period of time and Abram waited for the promised child for ten-years while living in the land of Canaan.
The land of Canaan is speaking of the “Promised Land” that was full of giants and had to be overcome and this speaks of the time of a believer living on earth.
But after ten-years, Sarai started to waver and got a so-called “bright-idea” about how to achieve getting her own son by using her slave woman Hagar. This was also a lapse of faith for Abram, who then also listened to his wife Sarah. This shows he was also wavering after ten-years of waiting in the land of Canaan. So, waiting a decade often speaks of waiting long time or can represent the end of human patience.
So, half the virgins did not have enough oil and half of them did. In fact, the oil does not represent the Holy Spirit as many have taught since the Holy Spirit is a person and He cannot be bought or sold even with human self-effort (like bible reading or prayer or Christian things).
The virgins speak of those who are eligible to be married because if they lose their virginity, they would be disqualified. So, they are potential mates for the Lord, if they meet the conditions when the Lord returns or if they finish their race in faithfulness and die in faith before the return of the Lord.
The bride of Christ is comprised of a multitude of believers of all races and nations who qualify to be part of the marriage bride of the Lord.
Genesis 18:32 (NASB)
32 Then he said, “Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak only this once; suppose ten are found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it on account of the ten.”
Ten was the lowest number Abram had gone in asking if the Lord would spare the place for the sake of ten. The ten are those who kept themselves undefiled in a wicked and perverse place like Sodom. In the end, all of Sodom was destroyed because there was not ten found among them that were righteous.
Lot was brought out by the prayers of Abram but he lost his wife who loved Sodom and turned toward it in mourning when it was destroyed. She was turned into a pillar of salt, which speaks of preserving something that is rotten.
Matthew 5:13 (NIV)
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
However, if a believer has lost their saltiness, they will have no preserving effect upon the wicked. Lot tried to prevent them from their homosexual rape attempt against the visiting angels. He was resisting their evil and the homosexual culture. He was a restraining influence upon evil so after he was removed, then judgment came.
Genesis 19:22-25 (NASB)
22 “Hurry, escape there, for I cannot do anything until you arrive there.” Therefore, the name of the town was called Zoar.
23 The sun had risen over the earth when Lot came to Zoar.
24 Then the LORD rained on Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven,
25 and He overthrew those cities, and all the valley, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.
The destroying angels could not do anything until Lot was removed from Sodom and so this speaks of the body of believers on earth who resist and restrain wickedness by their presence on earth. They protest and resist and stop evil from totally swallowing everything up.
It should be noted that the word “Zoar” means “little one” so in this situation it can be used to represent that even one godly family can restrain wickedness by their godly influence. Just being there restrains evil as they condemn that which is wicked by living in a righteous manner.
Even a small candle can dispel much darkness and so even the little town of Zoar can symbolize the smallest presence of believers and their power to dispel darkness.
But Jesus also said if these same believers lose their saltiness, then they will lose their power to restrain evil. This happens when the carnal Christians become carnal and worldly and just like the world. They lose their godly influence and are no longer preserving the world from destruction and are no longer shining as a light for God shining in darkness. Such people are like a lamp that is flickering and about to go out and a dim light that is overwhelmed by total darkness.
This is an example of the foolish virgins who had no extra oil. The oil can be called “fuel” here because they used olive oil like kerosene in those days for lighting their lamps. So, they were almost out of fuel. The long wait (like ten-years) causes people to become self-indulgent and lazy and say things like “What is the use of waiting anymore?”
So, this is like Sarah who waited ten-years in the land of Canaan and then decided to try to have her own child by self-effort using Hagar as a surrogate mother. All of the trouble in the middle-east now is a result of this attempt of Sarah trying to have a child her her own human self-effort. Abram was guilty also because he readily agreed because his faith was wavering as well over this ten-year period of time waiting in Canaan.
So, the long wait represented by ten-years speaks of the fact that believers are in need of endurance and those who endure to the end will be saved. The oil therefore should be called “fuel” and if they run out of gas or run out of fuel, they will not make it to the end of their race.
Luke 21:19 (NASB)
19 “By your endurance you will gain your lives.
Jesus spoke of the utter importance of endurance by saying that it is by endurance they will gain their own lives or save themselves to obtain eternal life.
It is the long-haul that makes all of the difference and is what will determine if a believer will make it into heaven or not.
This is what the parable of the ten virgins is talking about.
It speaks of the long-haul to endure like a long-distance marathon runner or a man who is on a journey which lasts a lifetime but he does not give up until he dies.
Matthew 10:22 (NKJV)
22 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.
Here is says clearly that those who endure to the end will be saved. Endurance is for a long-distance journey and if they do not give up, they can obtain eternal life.
Weighed Down with Sin
Luke 21:34-35 (NKJV)
34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.
35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.
This speaks of carnal believers who gave up after ten-years of waiting and so they started indulging in sin saying what is the use of waiting anymore?
It is the same as Sarah “throwing-in-the-towel” (an expression of giving up) and then using Hagar to obtain her own child by self-effort.
But in this case, the hearts of disgruntled believers are weighed down with carousing and drunkenness and cares of this life and they are just living for themselves as if there is no end-time coming. But this sort of thing is like those living in the time of Noah who were giving in marriage and planting fields and building houses and carrying on as if there was no end in sight. Then suddenly judgment swept them all away.
Foundation Scripture
Matthew 24:37-39 (NIV)
37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
In fact, Matthew 24 is part of the foundation scripture or the spine of the skeleton where everything else about end-time events is connected to like arms and leg bones connect to the spine.
Jesus said clearly that in the days of Noah people were eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage right until the time that Noah entered the ark. They did not know anything whatsoever until they were swept away in judgment.
These verses above (Matthew 24:37-39) are the foundation or revelation of what the parable of the ten-virgins is talking about. The parable of the ten-virgins speaks of preparing for the long-haul and having the endurance needed to make it to the end of the long-distance race. It is not about repeating a salvation prayer then living as they please for themselves.
It is about a determination to make it to the end (to either die of old age and go to the grave in faith or be ready when the Lord returns-(whatever comes first).
The fuel for the long haul (the olive oil fuel in the lamps) actually represents “determination” to have endurance and never give up until they die or get raptured.
Separation from the World
Genesis 19:17 (NASB)
17 When they had brought them outside, one said, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you, and do not stay anywhere in the valley; escape to the mountains, or you will be swept away.”
The angels instructed Lot to escape with their lives and do not look behind them or stay anywhere in the valley but escape to the mountains or they would be swept away in the judgment. The mountains speak of separation and climbing higher in God.
So, this speaks of separation from the world because the believer is in the world on earth but they are not to be part of the world but must hold themselves in separation. They are to resist and rebuke all wickedness displayed in their presence. They cannot be silent or else they will be swept away together with the wickedness (which is like a flood of sewage and moral filth). They are to speak out boldly and say “It is written” to restrain the madness of the ungodly trying to sweep all society into hell in wholesale manner.
They will be persecuted but they are the restraining force that keeps the wicked from running off with the world in wholesale manner. When parents fight the schoolboard from teaching homosexual curriculum or communist doctrines of demons to their children in school then this is resistance and it keeps the wicked from taking over everything in wholesale manner. When they are silent the wicked thrive and take over everything. When they stand up and expose evil and rebuke it and say “NO” then this action restrains evil.
Lot was like this in rebuking the madness of the homosexual mob trying to rape the visiting angels.
If he had been silent, he would have approved of the wickedness by passivity.
Numbers 16:26 (NASB)
26 and he spoke to the congregation, saying, “Depart now from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing that belongs to them, or you will be swept away in all their sin.”
Moses told the congregation to depart away from the tents of the wicked so that they would not be swept away by the judgment. The ground then clave apart under the feet of these wicked men and they and all they had were swallowed alive into hell! That is what happens when they and their families and followers are all given over to do evil and preform wickedness and this speaks also of the judgment to come.
It is the Holy Spirit within the hearts of on-fire believers (who are not silent) that restrains that which is evil upon the earth. That is why antichrist people seek to gain authority on earth so they can cull godly people and remove the restraint that keeps them from polluting the whole world. But as long as the believers are alive, the wicked cannot do this.
The lamps of the virgins still dispel darkness as they wait for the bridegroom who is Christ. After they are taken to the wedding chamber in heaven then the antichrist one-world ruler will be made manifest because he who restrains (the believers) will be taken out of the way.
2 Thessalonians 2:7 (NKJV)
7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.
So, the one who restrains are the believers who stand up and speak the truth and rebuke evil and when they are taken away (like Lot being removed from Sodom) then judgment will fall.
Dead Religion is Part of the World
2 Timothy 3:5-7 (NASB)
5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.
6 For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses,
7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
The carnal church is part of the world and they love the world and dress like the world and even have body piercing and tattoos like the world and shaggy hair as men like those in the world even after the scriptures says not to do any of these things and even a man with long hair is an abomination because it speaks of having submission to a woman.
1 Corinthians 11:14–15 (NASB95)
14 Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him,
15 but if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her? For her hair is given to her for a covering.
So, these carnal Christians have a form of godliness but they deny the power of sanctification and are worldly and sinful. Weak women weighed down with sins again relates to the analogy of the long-distance race because of they are trying to run with weights of sin (like a ball and chain on their ankles) then they cannot endure to the end. They must utilize the power of the Holy Spirit and purge themselves of sin or else they will be weighed down with sin and then they cannot finish their race on earth and so they will perish in hell together with the wicked unbelievers.
Matthew 7:23 (ESV)
23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
Jesus will say to them “I never knew you” because they did not walk with God and did not sanctify themselves from sin but instead loved the world.
1 John 2:15-17 (NKJV)
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world–the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life–is not of the Father but is of the world.
17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
The believer is not to love the world or the ways of the world. If they love the world then the love of the father is not in them. This is why Jesus will say to the worldly Christians that he never knew them.
Matthew 25:10–12 (NKJV)
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’
12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
The foolish virgins later came and said “Lord open to us!” after they were locked out of the wedding feast. The Lord answered them saying that he never knew them. This means if they love the world then they will not know the Lord because carnal Christians cannot love the world and love God at the same time. These foolish virgins were therefore only “professing Christians” who were not ready and were locked out of the wedding feast.
Again, the oil of the lamps is not the Holy Spirit as is often falsely taught because the foolish virgins had to go and buy oil and the Holy Spirit cannot be bought or purchased by self-effort or even Christian works like bible reading or prayer. These are good things but you cannot earn the Holy Spirit by doing these things because the Holy Spirit is not for sale.
Believers have to think for themselves and not flippantly repeat what others teach such as saying that the oil is the Holy Spirit and must be earned by Christian works to keep filled with the Spirit. That is false teaching and instead the olive oil here is to be identified as “lamp fuel” and it is saying that they must have the “fuel” necessary to make it to the end of the race.
It is therefore speaking of determination and setting their hearts in order and preparing some inward reserve so that they will last to the end (the grave) or they will endure until the appearing of Christ (whichever comes first). Only the most determined people will make it in.
Lot Wife Turning into Pillar of Salt
This thing about the wife of Lot looking back speaks of having worldly affections and she loved the world and even loved the homosexual culture of Sodom. The world had gotten inside of her and she was looking back in remorse to see the object of her desire being destroyed in judgment. This yearning desire to look back speaks of those wishing they could return to the world and enjoy the pleasures of sin and shows that they are not really happy or grateful to be saved. This is much like the Israelites who wanted to return to the slavery of Egypt again (which is a type of the world).
Revelation 18:17-20 (NKJV)
17 For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance
18 and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’
19 They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.’
20 Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!”
This speaks of the sinful world and how worldly people love the world. The ship owners and sailors all loved the world and lamented and mourned and threw dust on their heads in mourning when they saw evil Babylon destroyed.
This speaks of the worldly system which they love so much and they went crazy lamenting over its destruction. But the same city also was responsible for the holy apostles and prophets who rebuked the disorder and sin (like John the Baptist also did) and got killed by the evil people who wanted to silence them from rebuking their madness as the evil people went wholly after sin without restraint whatsoever!
This is why the wife of Lot looked back because she was longing for the world and had the love of the world within her. She represents the five foolish virgins who were worldly and whose oil was running out and whose lamps were flickering and smoking and ready to go out.
Flickering Light About To Go Out
Isaiah 42:3 (NASB)
3 “A bruised reed He will not break And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish; He will faithfully bring forth justice.
This scripture speaks of the bruised reed that is about to break and the dimly burning wick that is about to go out. This speaks of believers who are ready to break and give up. Their lamps are flickering and ready to go out. But Jesus is not like that and He is not a quitter and he will not quit but will execute his plans on the earth and bring forth justice. So, it is up to the believer to follow the example of Jesus and have the steadfastness within them to determine they will not quit or give up but hold fast until the end (faithful to the grave) or (faithful till the Lord comes) whatever comes first.
Matthew 12:20-21 (NIV)
20 A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he leads justice to victory.
21 In his name the nations will put their hope.”
This same scripture applies to Jesus and he will not quit so the believers have a hope to cling to and should never give up or “throw-in-the-towel” because they will reap if they do not give up.
2 Thessalonians 3:13 (NKJV)
13 But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.
The believer is not to grow weary in doing good but remain steadfast in the Lord.
Hebrews 12:3 (NIV)
3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
The believer is not to grow weary and lose heart but remain faithful to the end.
Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
This scripture speaks of not becoming weary in doing good because they will reap in the proper time if they do not give up. This is the essence of what the parable of the ten-virgins means. They will reap if they do not grow weary in doing that which is good.
Hebrews 10:36 (NKJV)
36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:
The believer has need of endurance and that is the main theme of the parable of the ten virgins because those who were determined and had the fuel of determination in their hearts remained ready when the bridegroom came (or remained ready until they died) whatever comes first.
The oil again is the fuel of endurance that is needed to make it to the end of the race.
Hebrews 12:1-2 (NKJV)
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
The believer is to run the race with endurance and look only to the Lord who is the author and finisher of their faith. The scripture above also speaks of casting off all sin that hinders them.
Isaiah 1:4 (NASB)
4 Alas, sinful nation, People weighed down with iniquity, Offspring of evildoers, Sons who act corruptly! They have abandoned the LORD, They have despised the Holy One of Israel, They have turned away from Him.
Humans are weighted down with iniquity and sin and that will keep carnal believers from finishing their race upon the earth.
Matthew 25:1-13 (NKJV)
1 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom .
2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,
4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’
7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’
9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’
12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a long-distance race and the parable of the ten virgins speaks of the fuel of inward determination to finish their race. The wise had the determination but the foolish were passive and weak and carnal and weighed down with sin and did not even expect or prepare for the return of the Lord.
All of these parables in Matthew 24-25 are related to the end time events as well as scriptures that are associated with them. These scriptures provide complete revelation about what is coming and how to prepare for it.
